Heartbreaking Day

Can't believe it's been 30 years today since I had the most heartbreaking day of my life to date. 30 years ago I lost a man that I loved with all of my heart and soul. The good Lord wanted him more than I did (which is hard to imagine). However, I am fortunate that I still have all of my children and pray God keeps them safe from harm.

Clinton, you would be proud of our kids today. We have such beautiful grandchildren. And yes, I still miss you more than you'll ever know. Forever.....

Finally!!

I finally got the bedroom painted. What do you think? Guess I will buy new curtains tomorrow since I've never located the other ones (darn it). I still have to hang the pictures up, but that can wait...I'm tired!

It's Almost Here!

Whoopee!!! Spring is almost here. I looked out my office window into the backyard and my daffodils are coming up. I can hardly wait to see the trees, shrubs, and flowers blooming. My allergies will be bad, but I still can hardly wait!

Welcome to March

Wow! I can't believe it's March already. I guess I need to start a "to do" list in order for me to get a couple of things done that I've been wanting to do. I really don't need a list...I just need to get the time to complete my tasks! It probably won't happen until spring break from school. What am I wanting to do? Glad you asked! I already have my new bed set and the master bathroom is done. Yep, I'm going to paint my bedroom. I don't look forward to it because that room is huge! Alan would be fine leaving it the way it is but not me. Maybe I will post a picture when it's done....we'll see.
